Easy trick to selectively change colors in Photoshop using hue/saturation

This is a quick tutorial from Andrey Mikhaylov about an easy and quick way to selectively change colors in Photoshop. We use it all the time in product and jewelry photography to change or adjust colors.

Andrey is starting a series of post-production tutorials for Photigy Pro Corner (something we were missing in Pro Corner), and we decided to open this first one up for everyone.

Here is an example image from this workshop where we used a selective color adjustment: what appears to be green mini-balls are actually blue ones.

An integral part of product photography, especially small products such as jewelry, is using the right prop. The right prop not only enhances the shot but also adds that little bit of magic which brings the whole shot together. Yes, of course, the product is the focus of the image, but the props assume a place of importance too in the whole scheme of things.
