Submit your two HDRs here: deadline 08/31/2012 | Page 3 | HDR Post-Processing Contest #2 | How to be a Professional Photographer forum: lessons, tips and tricks
The Main Rule:
If you submit your shot for the review, you must supply it with the lighting setup images (or diagram in case you do not have shots of the setup)
I approached this retouch as I would anything that was going to press. Printable shadows/highlights and neutral mid tones. Along with some corrective retouching.
Namely the removal of the parking signs, leasing signs in the windows, straightened the crooked tires on the Honda and cleaned up the oil stain on the pavement.
This was real fun Alex, thanks for the contest! Good Luck to all the participants!

One more – that one was fun too and got me to discover some hidden features and.limitations of my soft kit. Thanks for this challenge

My first attempt going for a pretty realistic look. Tone mapped only in the new HDR Efex Pro 2 from Nik. I'll post one more on the creative side later. Cheers and thanks for the contest! Kevin

This entry is a Nik plug-in "tour de force"! Initial tone mapping in HDR Efex Pro 2, then noise reduction in Dfine 2, selective color adjustment in Viveza 2, several filters from Color Efex Pro 4 stacked on one another, then final black and white conversion in Silver Efex Pro 2. Fun stuff! Kevin

This is my first time entering a competition on Photigy. I've been a longtime reader of the great tutorials however I only noticed the contest care of Alex Koloskov's Google+ page. I hope to try and expand my knowledge of HDR processing (this image being my first ever HDR) because the end result always matters and personally I think it's a damn nice look.
By the way, did anyone notice the guy in the window creeping on the photographer? Ha!
I am not sure why some are "correcting" the fisheye distortion – I think it helps "make" the image – There is no accounting for taste though.

Hi Alex,
Here is my second submission for the HDR contest. After a grungier first try, this is a more natural look.
Thanks,
Carlos

I got a bit carried away with being the perfectionist that I am. In this second entry I've tried to focus more on the ghosting effect that the people in the photo were creating. I achieved the best result I could with that and made slight overall image adjustments. Goodluck to all! I have had fun. BTW I used Nik HDR Efex Pro 2 and imported to Lightroom.
