Wow, this is really nice! One hint: pay attention to a background, make it more blurred so wrinkles won’t be visible..

Thank you Alex… And thank you again for everything you share!
Hmmmmm…. That didn’t work the way I expected. How do I post the actual image as opposed to a link?
Steve,
Great photo: the idea and how you did it. No way to upload image, it should be only through the link to the actual file.

Alex… You are a huge inspiration and help. Thank you for all you do! This is a sterling silver dragon fly broach made by a local artist here in the DFW area.

Konkolas,
Nice:-) Thank you sharing!
The lighting setup is same as above but the bottle instead of being tied was dropped in the water and the stutter pressed. There were a lot of misses. Hope you like it Alex.
Wow, you have done it very well! I like it! Glad that my tutorial helped you. Great job, my friend.
Keep it going!
Hi Alex
I made this shot using slightly different setup. I used a translucent white BG and lit it from behind using red gel. I used two lights, to light the product. On the left I used a 6 in reflector with barn door and on the right a 30 degrees honey comb with barn door to avoid spill over to the background.Hope you like it.photostream

Allen,
Nice shot, thank you for sharing. Do you like a background the way it came up?
This is an image inspired by Alex’s similar shot on his website. I tried to find the lighting technique when setting up the shot, but could not find it. So I just went for it. Alex’s shot was a little different in the fact that he had white bristles on his brush and there was a different angle. I changed the angle since I had black bristles I was more reliant on angle of incidence and a kicker. Thanks again Alex!

Justin,

Michael,
Great shots, thank you for sharing. I would only suggest to add a reflector to highlight the front of the apple.
BTW, I’ve extracted them from dropBox and uploaded here so we can the image not a link. Let me know if you are NOT OK with this.
And another one.
