In this short video Joshua Geiger will guide you through the Introduction to the Photoshop CC Workspace. With digital being the main photographic medium used today, we no longer need the darkroom. All those chemicals and endless amounts of time to process & develop our images are no longer needed, for most of us.

These days we use Photoshop as that workspace. Think of it as our “Digital Darkroom” where we can do more than we ever imagined doing with the tools & techniques of the traditional darkroom. So, keep in mind that no matter how good you are with your camera, almost every image isn’t done until it’s been through the digital development process (which normally just includes some levels/color adjustments and cleaning).

This introduction to the Photoshop CC workspace is the first in a series of videos which will help Photoshop beginners become more familiar with Photoshop and some of the most common tools & techniques for retouching images.
