Using Adjustment Layers to Fine Tune a Composite

An introduction to Adjustment Layers in Photoshop

In another tutorial, we used layers and layer masks to composite multiple images together to create a product shot using only one light source.  In this tutorial, we are going to take that same image and finalize the shot using adjustment layers to balance the image and some other standard retouching techniques.

You will learn:

  • How to use adjustment layers to non-destructively balance the brightness of various parts of an image

This tutorial builds on concepts learned in:
Masking and Selection Basics in Photoshop

On every video I see, I learn something. If the learning is large or small it doesn’t matter as it makes images better or you can do the job faster.
