Drobo announced 2 new devices: Drobo 5D and Drobo Mini.
Both claims to be 5x faster than previous drobos by using Thunderbol (eventually!) and USB3.0 connectivity.And what I really like is that they have now an internal baterry to protect data from power outages: battery will provide time for data to be moved from memorychache to hDD, before everything shuts down.
This is exactly waht I was looking to have in storate arrays!
