Hi there, I bought the Matthews Flag Frame – 48×48 and heavy translum, I’m not having the best of success securing the translum to the frame and wanted to ask if anyone has a good method.

It is extremly hard, I went with valcro just 3 “2 inch long” on each side, not a permanent solution but worked for me

I think those are closed-end not open-end right? Either way, you can use clear Scotch packing tape.

I measure the frame and cut the size of translum needed to go over the edge slightly. Tape one side while maintaining translum tension on one dimension then the other. When taping, have a good 2″ on the translum itself. In other words, I use the tape width on one side, then overlap a bit on the flip side treating the frame as the spine. If using an open-end, just be careful of frame tension as it’s designed for tensioning cloth scrims.

      I hope this helps!
