How do you use a color passport? Must the computer be calibrated?

Hi,

You have to shoot the passport in the exact lighting condition (also separately you’ll need to shoot the white balance target on it) and place as you shoot the subject prior or after the shoot and you need to run through their software (not very user friendly) to import it into camera raw or Lightroom and than when yo bring in the images from the camera you select the passport profile. in my experience it didn’t help me but instead ruined my colors, but that’s maybe just me, instead I rely on photoshop to play around and adjust coloring and also recently bought a Benq color calibrated monitor which helps a lot. I would suggest you check YouTube for color checker tutorials and if its something you think you can easy repeat than try it yourself if it actually works for you
