Flat Lay Ring Setup

Hi Alex

If i want to shoot rings in the front lay angle, see attached picture, how many diffusion panels should i use and how do i set them up, also how many lights should i use and where should i place them?

I want to shoot same 2 Flat lay and 3 Standing angles for 2 ring.

which one single lighting setup is best for me.

in the tutorial you teach us shooing a Most popular Top down angle, but we need to click more images of single product so please guide us.

Hello Manoj,

For every single angle, you’d need different setup since it’s almost impossible to get all the angels done by one lighting setup. You have to adjust lights according to the ring, its surface position relative to the camera. So we don’t believe there’s exist a single setup to cover all angles you need.

As an option, you can try to put the ring flat and move the camera around with a cone, but you have to move the entire setup for each angle…
