setting white balance with a grey card?

im confused how to set the white balance to a group of photos i am going to take with using my grey card? how do i set it to all the shots i am going to take or can it only be done in post editing?

anyones help would be appreciated. thanks

You can save a white balance preset and apply it to all the shots in the series. Depends on the software you use though.
