    Hi,

Does anyone have any advice on how to upload images in right quality of the website so it looks sharp?

Currently using a canon 750d medium size image then from photoshop I drag it into a smaller custom page and then free transform it into the acquired position. When I do this, on the mobile, it looks fuzzy.

    Any advice is appreciated!

Hi! You need to look after what size of the image the website want. That way you can choose the right format for the image. Some of them often want some specific sizes, if you go over the filesize they will compress the image and make it look worse than it is

Transforming an image to the desired proportions isn’t the best way to manage it especially if you’re doing upscaling.

First, simply crop your image with a correct aspect ratio (Crop tool in Photoshop) and then simply resize to the size you need. If you’re going to upload your shots to Facebook, use File -> Automate -> Fit Image command and choose 2048px width.

Thank you! But what happens when youve got a large image from the camera and downscale it to a smaller photo box using the free transform tool. Its for my website http://www.jeuels.com.au but when I go and check it out on mobile, its not so sharp.

      Any help is appreciated.

      Hi Johannes,

I’m not an instructor, but I can tell you that using the free transform tool is not meant for resizing images. It’s more for image editing.

If you have a large image you need to resize the file close to the size you need. File, save as and pic size from there.

      Hope it helps.
