How to Make Realistic Depth of Field in Photoshop
Composing products with different backgrounds is a common task in advertising photography, that’s why everyone should know how to do it right. I have seen many times how photographers blur the background to make a shallow depth of field (a lens blur).
However, it does not look right, and in this tutorial I’ll show you how to make a correct and natural look for an artificial lens blur on a background.
You will learn to:

An integral part of product photography, especially small products such as jewelry, is using the right prop. The right prop not only enhances the shot but also adds that little bit of magic which brings the whole shot together. Yes, of course, the product is the focus of the image, but the props assume a place of importance too in the whole scheme of things.
