catalogue shot- glass

hi, im wondering if anyone has any advice? I am trying to get a shot of this glass cup. it is just not getting the outline at the bottom where it goes round the curve at the bottom is just not getting a good enough outline? i have tried moving the softbox up all the way and facing more downwards like Alex said in the class but it hasnt helped.

I’ve attached a BTS shot too. Also why are the black lines coming so thick is that because my black is too wide?

Any advice from anywhere would be so appreciated!!

Malka,
the thickness of your dark lines is based on the distance between the glass and the screens. Try to move that black screen closer to the subject or opposite – and see how it will affect the size of dark reflections.
