Hi,
I chose a bottle of Chilli for my Fire shot.
I was a little anxious about setting the house on fire so I shot the bottle inside and the did the fire outside.I forgot to do BTS shots but it was simply a lit white background with an Elinchrom Mini spotlight on the label. Bottle shot attached.
Perhaps rubbling alcohol is different elsewhere but the one in Australia is only 64% alcohol and was not very volatile. I used Metholated Spirits which is 100% alcohol. I should not have been concerned as even that could put out the torch. I just sat the camera in video mode and shot the bottle against a black background at night. I then opened the movie in iMovie and exported single frames of fire for compositing.
In Photoshop I made separate images for the label, cap and table and adjusted 2 fire shots to fit.
Final image is attached. I hope that you like it.
