I’ve tried two different types of colouring with no luck in getting the oil to take the color.
Both food colouring and soap colouring just stay as small bubbles within the oil. Alex said to try candle colouring but I could not source that.
Any ideas how to get it in to the oil?

    thanks,

    Steve

      Hi Morten,
This looks very similar to what I have – soap dyes. The ones I have did not work. Not sure if it’s the brand or something else. Is there a special technique to getting it to mix?

It states that it mixes easy, but I guess if you heat them in some hot water it will be easier since its oil based

How about Microwaving the oil for 90 seconds to get it hot and then slowly mix in the coloring. Apparently it should take to the oil better.

      Finally found what works.
Tried the above recommendations but all I got was smaller bubbles. Food dye and soap dye did not work for me.
Sourced some Candle Wax dye – which is what Alex recommended – and it works great.
