I built a diffuser with translum and a wooden frame. Is it possible that the color of the wood frame affects my color temperature and makes it more yellow, warmer? If so, what face of the diffuser produces this effect: the one that touches the focus or the one that touches the object. (On the other side I also have a softox). Do I have to paint the Wood whit white or black color? I hope someone can help me in this topic. Thank you so much!

Xavi, I don’t think wood reflects too much yellow to the scene, probably the color cast is really negligible and hard to notice without measurement things in Photoshop.
I would make a few test shots with and without the frame (just diffusion material).
