    Hi all,

I’m taking the e-commerce jewelry course, and learning a lot from it’s great content so far. I would like to know if 3 Godox 250Di, being 2 of them with honeycombs and one with softbox would be good for 1 initial setup. I believe Alex is using 2 honeycombs and 1 softbox (boxlite) in most of his lessons.

Regarding the lens, there’s any big difference between Canon 100mm L series and Non L for jewelry besides the IS?

You should consider getting some strip boxes to create some nice gradients on the jewelry at least. The lights seem to work. There isn’t really a huge need for IS when doing studio shots of jewelry. As 99% of the times, the camera is on a tripod 😉 Make sure its a 1:1 magnification and all is good

      Hi Morten,
I have a doubt that I wish you can help me with it, please. To shoot jewelry what would be the optimal lighting gear? with continuous light from 2 softboxes would be ok or is it needed to invest in strobe flashes, like the godox qs400? Thank you in advance.
