I bought LED lights @ 13w with Sony-fit battery holders that take 6xAA batteries, so 7.2v maximum from good rechargable batteries. In practice, this is not enough for one light. A lot of people must discover the same.

Does anyone have an elegant solution?
    A 12v moped battery?
A set of unusual 1.5v AA rechargables and charger, instead of the usual 1.2v?

I bought the lights a few years ago. The back of the light looks like this

(My work-around was to buy cheap 8xAA battery holders with plug connectors like the ones on some batteries. Then buy sufficient connector and adaptor leads to connect these to the LEDs without any soldering.
One 8-pack of 1.2v Vapextech batteries charges 2-3 13w lights. It is hard to find a neat place to put the batteries.)
