Macro Focus Rail

Hello i have a macro focus rail and adjusting it to take photos of jewelry is causing issues
Alex can use a step up adjustment. I have a canon 6d mark ii. I don’t have that option . What is the best way to adjust focus for focus stacking ???
When Alex uses the sony software to adjust focus is it set to Auto focus?

Gary,
You need to look for Canon software to control the camera and lens focus, I think they have that option on supplied software. It will also control “auto and manual” modes, if this in-camera, but not on the lens (the manual focus switch)
