Hi Alex,
this is my first workshop here on ProClub.
I really enjoyed the time spent to realize the fake ice, and the idea that, as you say, we have just one try!
So, the work:
One bottle of Star of Bombay gin
2 stripbox with diffuser
1 background light with small honeycomb grid and blue gel
1 bottom light with 105mm zoom and blue gel
1 fume plexiglass (5mm)
all 4 lights are speedlite from yongnuo
canon 5d mark iv with canon 24-70 L II (@50mm)
ISO 100 | 1/160 | f11, thetheredThe bottle have a slight “V” shape, so i decided to rotate the entire set a little, and shoot at 50mm from low level, to emphasize the shape.
For this shot i compose 3 different images:
1 for the background
1 for the light from bottom without fake ice in front of the bottle, in order to prevent other reflection and have a clear front
1 with the stripbox+background with all the iceI really enjoyed Artem Pisarevskiy postproduction, and I try to adapt the work of Artem for my shot.
Thank you for your critique and have a nice day!
Matteo
