Since this is my first time to participate, let me introduce myself: My Name is Andreas, i´m a selfeducated fulltime Photographer based in Germany, living and working in a little village in the Bavarian mountains in the south of Munich. Businessphotography is one part of my work. Thanks to Covid-19 😉 it became my main interest. So i decided to build up a complete new portfolio related to product photography. I bought my first course on Photigy allready a few years ago and became a member 2 years ago. (Btw. i did visit Ukraine allready a few times and i did meet really great and wonderfull people there! As soon you get to know them, they are incredible kind and very hospitable!) But enough about myself.
The headphone shots:
I did shot 2 variations of the Sennheiser headphones: One pure version and the second one is a little bit more showy. For the second shot i did use the backside of an old commercial-banner as background ( I kept it because the backsides surface is kind of matt and shiny – a litte bit like nacre ) and for sure post production in Photoshop. For the detail image i used a different Sennheiser headphones, because i wanted to take the challenge of the shiny surface. At the end i am not 100% satisfied and i´m looking forward the critic and to learn what i could have done better.
For a third version i did use the earphones of my daugther. They are heavy used and full of scratches (and i didn´t found the time to remove all perfectly in the postproduction). To “let them fly” i had to use a brass wire to keep them stable.
For all images i attach the out of the cam and the final versions as well and some pictures behind the scenes.
My equipment:
Canon 5D Mark IV – triggerd wireless via Yongnuo trigger.
Prime lenses:
