Now happy with machine performance. Used lighter cedar for moving section, Douglas fir for stationary structure. Eliminated drawer slides and created track for cross bar and rollers to guide vertical movement. Final touch, waxing the cross bar slides. Video shows operation. Now to move to garage and toss some liquids!

  Wow, congratulations, Jean!
  Looks like you’ll need to add stoppers for an upward motion to make more “snappy” jumps. Otherwise, it works great!
