I recently completed the Blender Donut Tutorial with the Blender Guru < https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TPrnSACiTJ4 >. When I tried doing the assignments for the Intro to CGI for Product Photographers course using the Blender software application instead of the recommended CGI software I quickly ran into technical issues that I could not easily resolve. Would it be possible to offer CGI course versions using Blender? Blender is particularly adept at rendering photoreasistic images and videos. It has two powerful rendering engines, Eevee and Cycles, that are good for different sorts of problems. Blender also has a very strong user community and the software is constantly evolving. Blender, being open source and free, would also allow participants to continue with more advanced courses and workshops without having to shell out a substantial amount of money for a CGI application that may be used only infrequently at first.
