Hi, thanks for the workshop, it was really fun to do.
The image was shot with 2 rings on a reflective black background.
Then I shot another ring separately and added it on top of the acorn, I also added a moth just for fun!
Camera settings:
F14
1/125
Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L
Strobe lighting (2 shots combined for the main image, first shot with 1 light, 2nd shot with 2 lights).
I stacked the area around the rings for sharpness, I wanted the background a little out of focus so I didn’t stack that area.
Perhaps the shot should have been cropped in more to show the rings better, I got carried away with all the leaves and things! It was great fun, will you do another jewellery workshop soon? It would be great to do more if possible. Thank you 🙂
