Sony a7II is a pretty interesting camera mostly because of it’s 5-Axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization.

The Sony a7II provides a larger body which allows for better handling and more firm grip. The layout of the buttons on the top makes for easier use. There is also an additional custom button on the a7II for more flexibility.

5-Axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization

With A7II 5-Axis Sensor-Shift Stabilization – any lens you own – even lenses that could never have it before such as Leica and other legacy glass – can now be image stabilized for the first time on a full-frame sensor both for still images as well as video.

If a Sony lens comes with built-in stabilization the in-body Steadyshot does not need to be turned off. The camera will make the choice of which stabilization system to use based on automatic identification of the lens when it is attached. Of course as with all stabilization systems, if the camera is tripod mounted all stabilization systems should be disabled
