At Photigy, we’re always looking for ways to simplify product photography without sacrificing quality. That’s why I’m excited to share this tutorial on using NeuroViz’s latest feature, the Guided Photo Generator. In this step-by-step guide, I’ll walk you through how I used this tool to craft a stunning image of a watch sitting on a driftwood background. The best part? You can control the composition and style of the scene, ensuring that your product seamlessly integrates into the AI-generated backdrop.
This tool can be a game-changer for photographers and e-commerce sellers who want professional-level results without the need for an elaborate photoshoot. Here’s how to get started.
Step 1: Upload Your Product Photo
Start by uploading a photo of the product you want to feature. For this demonstration, I used a watch photographed on a simple white background. You don’t need a super high-resolution image for this process—the tool works efficiently with standard images.
Step 2: Define Your Scene
Once your product is uploaded, think about the kind of background you want for it. For this example, I envisioned the watch resting on a driftwood log, with dark rocks around it to create an earthy, natural vibe. In the text prompt, I entered: “top-down photo, driftwood log, dark rocks”. This gives the AI enough direction to generate a scene that matches my vision, aligning perfectly with the product’s style.
Step 3: Use the Shape Editor to Guide Your Scene
The Shape Editor is where the magic happens. This tool allows you to draw the key elements of your scene. For my watch, I sketched the driftwood directly under the watch to give the illusion that the watch is resting on it. Using a brush with around 10-15% opacity, I created a soft, natural-looking log.
The key here is to think about the textures and shapes you want to include. The Shape Editor allows you to customize the scene to match the exact feel you’re aiming for.
Step 4: Generate and Tweak the Image
Once you’ve set up your scene, click “Run” to generate the image. The AI will create a photorealistic background, and if you want to add a creative flair, you can select the “Extra Artistic” option, which adds lighting effects and extra elements. You can always regenerate the image if the first version isn’t quite right.
Step 5: Fine-Tune and Finalize
After reviewing the first result, I decided to adjust the driftwood size and added some rocks for better balance in the composition. You can play around with different settings until you’re satisfied. Once you have the perfect shot, click “Upscale” to generate a high-resolution image suitable for your portfolio or commercial use.
NeuroViz’s Guided Photo Generator is now available for anyone to use, and you can try it out for free. Whether you’re a photographer looking to streamline your workflow or a business owner needing polished product visuals, this tool makes it easy to create professional images in minutes.

I’m a mix of technicality, innovation, and out of the box thinking. I love to take technical challenges in anything I do, including photography.
As a photographer, I am completely self-taught. I don’t know the rules, nor do I care about them. I don’t follow the herd; I do it my way. That turned out to be invaluable in what I do. It allows me to experiment, to see outside the borders, to challenge the authorities; and also to create a stunning photography style that is crisp, sharp, and crystal clear.
What makes my service stand out from my competitors?
I specialise and work only in the field of product photography. This includes a strong knowledge in the creativeness and styling. All of those is a must nowadays for digital and physical advertising, presentations, catalogs and so on.
I work quickly and efficiently. It’s important for me to give my customers a service they can rely on both- artistically and professionally.
