Sony 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS Sony Lens Review
And First Impressions.
About week ago I’ve got Sony 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OOS lens, and this is my first impressions and my Sony Lens Review:
The lens is retractable, which is great for carrying the camera concealed and usually bad for image quality. I can tell you now is that the Sony 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OOS lens has huge barrel distortion and has quite heavy vignetting. No complaints, great result for the retractable zoom for $300.
I waited for it for almost 2 months 🙂
But man, the camera looks so sexy with this black lens! I’ve snapped quick shots in the studio (you can see by the amount of dust on the table how quick I was:-) with lens in and out, check it out:

The verdict:
The lest is good for $300 zoom, especially when you know where to wash your hands!
