  1. I would like to place order, but i didn’t find the original link :( Any help ??

  2. Hi Alex. Nice sense of humour for april’s fools. I was one of the first guys to place an order for the annihilator. I’ve received it today and I am very happy with it. Soon I will upload an unboxing video to share with all of you. First impressions are 100% positive. But my main concern with this really cool device is what will I do with all of the spare time I’m going to have from now. Really I am starting to feel dizzy about it. I was get so used to invest a lot of time preparing photoshoots… Congrats for your work. Greetings from Spain.

  3. Just found it on “Kickstarter” but it says it’s Sold Out. What’s up with that?

  4. Do you need product photography for this product photography product? ‘Cause I know a guy…

  5. OK I want one, just a little bigger to photograph planes, trains, cars and ships. Please make it a tunnel so the subjects can drive, sail or fly through. I’ll let you build it if you pay me 40% of all sales for providing the brilliant idea.

  6. So, is this really true or is this an April Fool’s joke?

The unmitigated excitement and trustworthiness radiating from Alex’s video suggests this is real.

The utopian capabilities of the device (did it really just add a whiff of steam to that image of the cup of tea) makes you wonder if this is a well produced joke.

I really don’t know what to believe and not feel stupid. I guess we will find out on April 2nd.

Oh, and by the way, since we are on the topic of utopian technologies, since the device can add perfectly placed steam to a cup of tea, can we have the device actually make tea as well, in spare time when not used for product photography? :-)

  7. Hi Alex ! This is a great April’s Fool joke — with a great sense of detail :-)
By the way, is it possible to make another one for portraits photographers ? :-p

  8. If I order now can I get the 40% discount off the $1500? If so, sign me up. ;-)

    Bill G

PS… where is the smoke generator for the simulated steam off the coffee?

  9. Sorry, could You be so kind and put link to Kickstarter project. I was searching it, but didn’t find. Thanks

  10. Finally, something to contain splashes! :-)

  11. Haha love it… Definitely need to place my order LoL.

  12. Nice joke :-)
And all the effort that you put in making the 1/4 fools.
    Really well done Alex!

  13. Cool concept.
    Lots of boxes out there.
    WiFi vs iPad vs Android.
    Sony vs Canon vs Nikon.

    Polarized – smart.
    HDR Bracketing – smart.
    Focus Stacking – next.

    Under-Back Lighting – transparent+colored targets.
Clipping – Transparent vs Dead White.
Post Processing – defects, enhancement, smoothing.
    Spins – 360 + Hemispheric vs Static.

  14. LOL, Very creative and effective work for April Fools! As always, great work man!

  15. Brilliant best April fools joke I’ve seen today!! ?

  16. Oh dear, apparently I have no future in product photography. I guess it is time to follow my secret passion and become a professional toenail long distance clipper. I also plan to offer some coaching in this emerging sport for loads of money if anyone is interested.

  17. Hi Alex

    I just bought

  18. Haha. Annihilating all the people that supported the site – good name. Anyone got any teeth left?

Very impressive device though, well done.

If you’re starting product photography stop now.
